During sleep, your body naturally creates more pressure around areas such as your shoulders, hips and lower back. This is why comfort begins with a material that can respond to your body's shape. The mattress uses 40kg/m³ Memory Foam, a high-density memory foam layer designed to gently contour around your body and help distribute weight more evenly for a more comfortable sleeping surface.
But comfort alone is not enough. A mattress also needs to support you as you move. As sleeping positions change throughout the night, materials need to respond quickly while maintaining balance. Beneath the memory foam, 30kg/m³ Reflex Foam provides a responsive transition layer, helping the mattress recover naturally and maintain consistent support.
The foundation beneath these layers plays an equally important role. Without a durable support core, the comfort materials above cannot perform at their best over time. That's why the Balance Memory Foam Mattress uses EcoFoam, a high-density support layer created by repurposing premium polyurethane foam. It provides the stability needed for long-lasting performance while supporting a more considered approach to material use.
Comfort also begins before you reach the foam layers. The mattress is finished with a soft bamboo non-quilted cover and manufactured in the UK using carefully selected materials.
