Bought this due to lower back pain. Was a little unsure if it would be firm enough, but its great, i would describe it as medium/firm. It arrived well packed in plastic and was easy to manoeuvre upstairs, it opened up easily, I placed it onto the frame after 48 hours and have now slept on it for a week. Not had 1 single pain. Very good price and even if it lasts only a couple of years, I've got a bargain and I know that a change of mattress was all that was needed. Update April 2026: This mattress was purchase in Nov 2021 and now it's been rendered useless as there is a massive dip in the middle. On both sides as I tried flipping it as well. Although this was an open box item, the condition is very good. I researched it carefully and know that it's well made of quite natural materials. We recommend once the mattress has been taken out of its packaging to leave for 24 to 48 hours to allow it expand to its original size.
