A layer of "body-hugging" memory foam in this mattress helps to provide extra comfort, as it molds to your body contours for soothing pressure relief and a more peaceful night's sleep. Finished with a beautifully soft knitted, hypoallergenic mattress cover for a smooth sleep surface. This mattress provides a medium-firm feel, suited to those who switch between sleeping on their back or side.

First 5 nights I thought I'd made the wrong choice and was thinking about returning the mattress as I felt like I was sleeping on a plank of wood. I was looking at softer mattress options on Wayfair as I was certain I was going to exchange it. This taught me the importance of settling into your new mattress and giving it time. I deliberately went for a firmer mattress due to my old medium being way too soft and very bad for my arthritic spine and fibromyalgia. I'd say it took almost 2 weeks and now 6 weeks later it's gone from completely rigid with zero movement to softer with a little bounce. I'm now happy with the mattress. It's deep enough, firm enough but also soft enough for my body to feel supported and sunk in/ cradled. I sleep alone on this double mattress but it would be ideal for a couple as it doesn't bounce and move when you roll over. It hasn't helped my back but it appears that no mattress can help arthritis anyway. It certainly hasn't made it worse, only during the settling in period. Expect it to be incredibly firm for the first few weeks but learn from me, it gets softer. 6 weeks in it's 25cm deep.. Andrea. Sutton, GB. Mon Feb 22 2021

We ordered this mattress with some doubts as we couldnt try before buying it, although the reviews on here are overall positive. Me and my partner both suffer of back ache, therefore it was really important to find a mattress that could give us enough support. Weve left it on the bed for 48 hours so it could take its shape back properly and we just woke up form a very pleasant night sleep!! Combining individually pocketed springs and a latex foam layer allows the pocket-sprung latex 1500 mattress to offer you support and comfort in abundance.

Bought this due to lower back pain. Was a little unsure if it would be firm enough, but its great, i would describe it as medium/firm. It arrived well packed in plastic and was easy to manoeuvre upstairs, it opened up easily, I placed it onto the frame after 48 hours and have now slept on it for a week. Not had 1 single pain. Very good price and even if it lasts only a couple of years, I've got a bargain and I know that a change of mattress was all that was needed. I'm not keen on the feel of 'memory foam' and found it difficult to find mattresses without it. Happy that I came across this one.. Aud. Fri Feb 23 2024
