Bought this due to lower back pain. Was a little unsure if it would be firm enough, but its great, i would describe it as medium/firm. It arrived well packed in plastic and was easy to manoeuvre upstairs, it opened up easily, I placed it onto the frame after 48 hours and have now slept on it for a week. Not had 1 single pain. Very good price and even if it lasts only a couple of years, I've got a bargain and I know that a change of mattress was all that was needed. This mattress is absolutely awful. Thin layer of memory foam on the top and what feels like a layer of ply wood. The springs are visible through the side of the wall of the mattress and there is so much movement if one of you moves whilst the other is laid still. Definitely a good buy. We bough Superking size so not very easy to get upstairs but worth the squeeze!! VERY comfortable. I was concerned about buying a mattress online, untested but I needn't have worried as the reviews were glowing and they were all right.
