The mattress arrived well packaged, was simple to take out and expanded to full size in little time! A little softer on the edges than I expected (more like spring out of bed - if you try rolling you might end up on the floor faster than you planned!!!) But over all comfortable and happy with it!. During sleep, your body naturally creates more pressure around areas such as your shoulders, hips and lower back. This is why comfort begins with a material that can respond to your body's shape. The mattress uses 40kg/m³ Memory Foam, a high-density memory foam layer designed to gently contour around your body and help distribute weight more evenly for a more comfortable sleeping surface. But comfort alone is not enough. A mattress also needs to support you as you move. As sleeping positions change throughout the night, materials need to respond quickly while maintaining balance. Beneath the memory foam, 30kg/m³ Reflex Foam provides a responsive transition layer, helping the mattress recover naturally and maintain consistent support. The foundation beneath these layers plays an equally important role. Without a durable support core, the comfort materials above cannot perform at their best over time. That's why the Balance Memory Foam Mattress uses EcoFoam, a high-density support layer created by repurposing premium polyurethane foam. It provides the stability needed for long-lasting performance while supporting a more considered approach to material use. Comfort also begins before you reach the foam layers. The mattress is finished with a soft bamboo non-quilted cover and manufactured in the UK using carefully selected materials.
