Seven layers, one feeling: weightless. The Emma Original Elite sits at the top of the Original range, built around AirGrid® — a hyper-elastic polymer layer in a honeycomb structure that does two things nothing else in the range does. It lets air pass through thousands of open channels freely, no graphite, no gel, just passive cooling that works all night. And it bounces back the moment you move, so you're never stuck or working harder to shift position. Below it, Airgocell® foam keeps humidity moving, MemoryAdapt foam contours to your shoulders, hips and lower back, and SupportBase holds the whole structure steady. The core is a 7-zone pocket spring system covering your head, neck, shoulders, back, hips, knees and feet individually. At 27 cm tall with a medium soft feel (2/5), this is the most cushioned mattress in the range and the one most side sleepers reach for. The cover is a step up too: 64% polyester, 36% Tencel, thicker than the standard Emma cover and noticeably softer to the touch. Fully removable and machine washable at 40°C. NBF approved. UKFR certified. Try it for 100 nights. Not right for you? Returns are handled through Wayfair. The 10-year guarantee covers all foam and spring layers. T3 Platinum Award. Good Housekeeping Institute Approved 2026.

Outstanding Supporting and quality. Christopher. Wed Sep 16 2026

Medium firm feel and approximately 28cm/11” depth. This is a dual sided mattress and will need to be flipped in order to maximise comfort and longevity. The pocket springs target and alleviate pressure points on 9 key areas of your body by adjusting to your body while you sleep, relieving pressure for back, side, and stomach sleepers. The premium springs work individually according to the weight applied, absorbing noise and vibration, ensuring even weight distribution to minimize sleep disturbance from partners or pets. The hand tufted design will contour to your body and support you through every night

Hybrid design blends pocket springs & memory foam for ideal support in any position—back, side, or stomach. Adapts to all body types for personalized comfort.

I’ve been sleeping on this mattress for about three weeks now. I wanted to give it a good try before leaving a review and overall it is made well, as described, it was super easy to set up, and medium-firm as stated. We have a super skinny stairwell which made this the perfect option to get a king mattress up our stairs. I’ve always leaned toward firmer bedding so I like how solid it is, but I’m not sure how much I like the design on top which makes the surface feel uneven. I added a 2” foam pad and it’s perfect.. The Emma Original Lite is a 22 cm deep hybrid mattress built around a 3 zone steel pocket spring core, designed to give reliable support that lasts. This is the newly updated version of the Original Lite, improved in 2026 with a new wraparound comfort foam edge running around the spring unit, so the sides hold their shape and you can use the full width of the mattress with confidence, whether you are lying down or sitting on the edge. The three zones give focused support to the shoulders, hips and legs, helping keep the spine in natural alignment in every sleeping position. A soft foam layer on top cushions pressure points from the first moment, and the SupportBase layer beneath eases strain and creates a smooth transition into the spring core, holding you up without letting you sink. Steel pocket springs hold their support night after night, so the mattress stays comfortable for longer rather than softening in the middle. The cover is fully removable and machine washable at 40 degrees. The Emma Original Lite has a medium firm feel and arrives rolled and boxed for easier handling into the room.

Very easy to unwrap and very comfy - highly recommend. Delivery was also prompt and updates were always given. Anonymous. Sat Sep 26 2026
