This mattress is made from an upper layer of memory foam. It is soft and pliable following the outline of your body perfectly. It provides the best possible support to your body's spine allowing your body to immediately find the best possible sleeping position. Please note: The additives used in the manufacturing of foam may give rise to a slight odour. If this should occur, please remove all packaging and store in a well ventilated room for 48 hours. The odour is safe and will dissipate overtime.

It is comfortable and I have no trouble sleeping on it. I'm quite large (110Kgs) and there is a significant dip in the mattress when i get up in the morning.
