Slumberdown's microfibre 4.5 tog duvet cleverly regulates your temperature so you don't get too hot or too cold through the night. Dacron hollow fibre is formulated to carry excess heat and moisture away from your head and body into the surroundings. The more heat that you generate the harder it will work to keep you cool. But if you're already cool it will slow right down so you don't get too cold either. It gently wraps around your contours so it stays with you as you move in the night. It is also lightweight even at high tog counts.

This Slumberdown Wonderful Wool lightweight duvet is filled with 100% British wool. Wool fibres act like a spring, meaning they can continuously resist pressure and flattening and still bounce back, which makes wool a perfect filling for duvets. Wool fibre is incredibly complex and made up of lots of different layers, which create pockets that trap air and help to circulate heat, enhancing insulation and warmth. It absorbs the sweat we produce during the night and then releases it when the atmosphere is dry, keeping skin dry and comfortable. As well as this, wool breathes naturally and constantly adjusts to external conditions, which helps to regulate temperature and ensure comfort. All these characteristics make this Wonderful Wool duvet from Slumberdown a great choice for all seasons. To enhance the effects of this impressive filling, the Wonderful Wool duvet has a 100% cotton cover. Also naturally breathable, the cotton ensures that the benefits of the wool filling are not lost, working harmoniously together to deliver an optimum sleep environment for you all year round. Choose this lightweight Wonderful Wool duvet if you prefer a duvet with lower weight and warmth, similar to 3–4.5 togs.

Light as air, irresistibly soft and hypoallergenic, Panda’s Cloud Bamboo Summer Duvet is crafted to perfection with organic bamboo in both the filling and the cover, making it lightweight and airy for cooling summer comfort. Bavarian sewn-through pockets ensure the fill, a blend of bamboo microfibre and Panda’s innovative Nano-Microfibre™, stays distributed evenly throughout the night. This 4.5 tog duvet is thermoregulating and highly breathable, promoting optimum airflow to keep you at just the right temperature on warm nights.

The duvet is light and airy and works well in both warm and cold weather. It is comfortable and does not feel heavy when you are sleeping.. The only issue is that it is uniquely sized so that normal duvet covers are slightly too big for it. This means that you will never get the duvet to fit exactly and you will always have some spare areas of duvet cover which can be slightly annoying. This appears to be to get you to buy their own brand duvet covers.. Jamiem. Sat Aug 08 2026

Die Zudecke Canadian goose down duvet is one of the highest quality duvets on the market, with a fantastic 330 thread count cotton cover that offers a gentle touch and the added benefit of comfort and luxury. This bespoke duvet is made to order from Germany by expert tailors using traditional techniques. Filled with 100% class 1 pure Canadian goose down originating from the northern territories of Canada, this duvet provides exceptional warmth - feeling impressively soft and light due to the hand-picked soft fluffy clusters of down. All die zudecke products are nomite certified. This is issued by the EDFA and means that the fabric is so tightly woven that house dust mites cannot penetrate the fabric, making them suitable for sufferers of house dust mite allergies. All products also conform to the Oeko-tex 100 class 1 standard. This gives you the assurance that there are no harmful chemicals or substances in Zudecke duvets and pillows. Class 1 certification also means that they are suitable for babies and children. This duvet also benefits from a box-stitched cassette construction, keeping the filling evenly distributed and eliminating any cold spots for a luxurious drape.

The duvet looks very good but yet to try it out. I wish to report the completely inadequate service from DHL delivery company who simply left the box near my front door, under an ant infested shrub. No attempt was made to ring our doorbell and I had waited in especially. I am not impressed and expect you to investigate this and feedback your findings and intentions in due course.. Fiona.
