Seven layers, one feeling: weightless. The Emma Original Elite sits at the top of the Original range, built around AirGrid® — a hyper-elastic polymer layer in a honeycomb structure that does two things nothing else in the range does. It lets air pass through thousands of open channels freely, no graphite, no gel, just passive cooling that works all night. And it bounces back the moment you move, so you're never stuck or working harder to shift position. Below it, Airgocell® foam keeps humidity moving, MemoryAdapt foam contours to your shoulders, hips and lower back, and SupportBase holds the whole structure steady. The core is a 7-zone pocket spring system covering your head, neck, shoulders, back, hips, knees and feet individually. At 27 cm tall with a medium soft feel (2/5), this is the most cushioned mattress in the range and the one most side sleepers reach for. The cover is a step up too: 64% polyester, 36% Tencel, thicker than the standard Emma cover and noticeably softer to the touch. Fully removable and machine washable at 40°C. NBF approved. UKFR certified. Try it for 100 nights. Not right for you? Returns are handled through Wayfair. The 10-year guarantee covers all foam and spring layers. T3 Platinum Award. Good Housekeeping Institute Approved 2026.

Lovely deep mattress. Haven’t slept on it yet but certainly feels good quality.. Alison. Kettering, . Mon May 04 2026

Hybrid design blends pocket springs & memory foam for ideal support in any position—back, side, or stomach. Adapts to all body types for personalized comfort.

I’ve been sleeping on this mattress for about three weeks now. I wanted to give it a good try before leaving a review and overall it is made well, as described, it was super easy to set up, and medium-firm as stated. We have a super skinny stairwell which made this the perfect option to get a king mattress up our stairs. I’ve always leaned toward firmer bedding so I like how solid it is, but I’m not sure how much I like the design on top which makes the surface feel uneven. I added a 2” foam pad and it’s perfect.. The Emma Original Lite is a 22 cm deep hybrid mattress built around a 3 zone steel pocket spring core, designed to give reliable support that lasts. This is the newly updated version of the Original Lite, improved in 2026 with a new wraparound comfort foam edge running around the spring unit, so the sides hold their shape and you can use the full width of the mattress with confidence, whether you are lying down or sitting on the edge. The three zones give focused support to the shoulders, hips and legs, helping keep the spine in natural alignment in every sleeping position. A soft foam layer on top cushions pressure points from the first moment, and the SupportBase layer beneath eases strain and creates a smooth transition into the spring core, holding you up without letting you sink. Steel pocket springs hold their support night after night, so the mattress stays comfortable for longer rather than softening in the middle. The cover is fully removable and machine washable at 40 degrees. The Emma Original Lite has a medium firm feel and arrives rolled and boxed for easier handling into the room.

Pillowtop mattresses take sleeping comfort to the next level by including an additional top layer of padding in a sumptuous pillowed top section. This will help to evenly distribute your weight across the mattress making them great for any sleep position. This means front, back or side sleepers can benefit from the additional levels of support offered by the pillow top. Our pillowtop mattresses are handcrafted in our own factory using a combination of traditional techniques and modern technology to create a luxuriously comfortable and long-lasting mattress. Our cashmere 1000-pocket pillowtop features 1000 individually pocketed springs for a superior level of support across the whole area of the mattress. As the springs can move independently of each other this makes the mattress great for people with restless partners as it stops you from rolling together and will help prevent you from feeling them move on the other side of the mattress. The top of the mattress is padded with a natural cashmere and wool blended which helps to regulate temperature meaning the mattress will not get too hot. This is supplemented by an airflow system with vents on all sides to expel warm and moist air. With traditional side support and generous side stitching, the mattress will keep its shape even when you are sitting on the edge. As with all traditional fillings, the mattress will feel slightly firmer at first and should over the course of a couple of weeks settle into a medium feel.

It took a while to deliver and I was even delivered the wrong size at one point however Wayfair customer service was amazing which is why I keep coming back. The mattress is very comfortable and a massive improvement over my previous memory foam mattress. I honestly think it's because it's more natural. My sleep has improved and my hip pain lessened almost immediately. I find the mattress to be the ideal balance of support and comfort. There is a smell off the mattress which hasn't completely evaporated yet, I don't find the scent unpleasant but I grew up next to a farm so I may have a higher tolerance than most to natural odours. I would quite happily recommend this product obviously the mattress is quite new so I can't speak to the longevity of it although I do hope it does me for some time to come.. Lorraine. Airdrie, GB. Through extensive research and experience we have created the ideal mattress for those looking for a supportive edge to edge support mattress but with a sumptuous cushioned feel. This medium firm feel mattress contains premium individually Fabric Wrapped Pocket Springs, combined with Memory, Reflex and Cool Blue foam, and a sumptuous Pillow Top layer to give you the divine sleep you deserve. The high individual pocket spring count targets and alleviates pressure points on 9 key areas of your body by adjusting to your body while you sleep, relieving pressure for back, side, and stomach sleepers. The Pillow Top creates a more sumptuous and luxurious sleeping environment, giving the mattress a lovely cushioned feel but not compromising on all round support. The combination of reflex and cool blue foam with memory foam creates one of the most comfortable, supportive, and breathable mattress surfaces possible.
