This is a great wok and all that I expected from Le Creuset. Being cast iron, it takes a little while longer to heat than a conventional wok, however once up to heat, it retains heat well and makes cooking easy to control. The glass lid is an added bonus as it helps keep food warm when the cooking has finished. Only slight drawback is that it is a little heavy, which is fine for me as a man, but some women may be put off by this.
