The item I bought is lovely but the delivery leaves a lot to be desired. The company who delivered my item wasn’t the best shall we say. I live on a street which means nothing can be left outside. Because it could and has in the past, been taken. The company in question was Evri . If you have seen or read reviews about this company they are not that good. The only good thing they did left me a text message telling me they would be delivering between 7 am 9.30 which was a bit awkward because I was in work so I thought I had better leave work early to be there for them. I have a ring doorbell so I can watch some deliver and answer if necessary, but to my surprise they didn’t even ring the bell. He just left the item right outside my front door in view of everyone and he was hammering down with rain as well, which meant my item get wet so as soon as I seen this on my doorbell. I rushed home but lucky enough my parcel was still there but he was soaking wet so I opened a box to check everything inside was okay and luckily enough it was but I rang Wayfair customer services to tell them what happened and to be honest, they were fantastic. They said a refund of 25 off my item which covered me for lost money which I had lost for coming home early. And I’ve also left notes on my account to tell anyone who is delivering to my address in the future to call me 1st to arrange delivery and they also put an extra 10 for future orders so anybody thinking of buying from Wayfair don’t hesitate and hopefully the same doesn’t happen to you .this such a shame because my TV cabinet is lovely and fits perfectly .
