My parking space is surrounded by fence on three sides and sits under an apple tree. After experiencing one round of severe hail damage and suffering through another fall of my car being pelted by apples, I began the quest for a carport and landed on this Sunjoy model. I couldn't be happier. At 20 feet long, it covers my entire Q7, and the width was perfect for my parking space. I can definitely open the car doors on both sides, and parking between the posts is no problem. Speaking of posts, our handyman built concrete bases for the posts because of the slope of the space. One other thing to know: in the blueprint on page 4, the distance from post to post is actually 227 inches (not 229.13 as stated in the book.) It took under two days for two people to construct it, and we're very happy with how it looks. Highly recommend!. Kim. Denver, CO. Thu Jan 02 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great!! I can finally sit outside on my rooftop patio in the rain!  You can do alot with a 12x16. I have two couches and two swivel chairs as well as a coffee table under it Took me one evening of sorting and assembling the beams about 4hrs  Full assembly one 12hr the next day 16hrs in total with two people for the roof.  Two people all day could probably do it in 6-8hrs  Only reason I gave it a 4star review was because the plastic, protective, coating on the roof panels is impossible to take off I took me a half an hour to peel off one whole panel. I said forget this and left the rest.  Idk why its not just grab one corner and rip off.  Its like peeling off cling wrap  I havent had any problems with it being on And my roof gets direct afternoon sun. We have been using this for 2 years now. So this is a long term review. Assembly wasn't too difficult and my wife and I were able to do it without more help. Overall the quality is good and the paint has oxidized somewhat and there are some small rust spots but overall great. The shade is also good quality and very heavy duty. We're in Florida so I have to clean and pressure wash it every 6 months or so but it comes up pretty nice. We really like the ability to move the shade and the fixed louvers add separation from the rest of the backyard. Recommended.. T.j.. Tallahassee, FL. Sun Dec 15 2024

Canopy has only been setup for about two weeks at this point… needed extra hands to hold parts up during construction but family is always game. Box was a bit beat up in shipping, actually ended up missing several parts but customer service was super awesome and walked me through what I needed. We were only delayed a week to be made whole again. Great job Wayfair. I do recommend if you are going to ship such heavy items with so many parts, maybe more sturdy cardboard or perhaps ship multiple smaller boxes to prevent the order arriving like a wrapped mummy. Still, thank you customer service and love the shade!. Candice. Lititz, PA. Tue May 30 2023

We turned this adorable shed into a farm store and are so happy with the results. It's the perfect space to welcome our community and share eggs, baked goods, and produce with customers. Assembly was straightforward but did require significant manual labor. A team of 2-3 men could put it together in a full weekend of work. The biggest pros of this building is the modular aspect, which allows you to place the windows wherever you would like (sides or back). We placed both windows on the back wall, which allowed us to increase airflow and keep it cooler inside the shed, essential for using it as a farm store. We also love the french doors. They're so beautiful, super functional, and easy to use. Everything is very high quality and worth the investment. Since welcoming customers, I am regularly receiving compliments about the structure. We are so happy with our farm store!!. Farm Store. Fri Oct 31 2025

Once you have a good level foundation, putting the gazebo together is easy and the instructions are very clear. I also found one YouTube video of the build, which helped visualize everything and made it even easier. There were only a couple hiccups — a couple of the screws had messed up tips and would not go into the wood. We found the same type of screw at a hardware store. And the biggest issue was that one of the metal parts was not drilled all the way, they forgot one hole on one side. We did our best to drill through the metal but ultimately left it without one bolt. I think it will be fine. It’s not the sturdiest gazebo ever (the wood is very light), but it works perfectly in our space. Put together over two days, two people. We did need a couple extra people in the very beginning to help hold the initial poles in place while we connected and secured them.. Anna. Gaithersburg, MD. Mon Sep 23 2024
