Doors look very well. Unfortunately the quality is quite poor. When drilling hole for handle the wood exploded damaging the door. Inside showed the door is practically made of rubble and it just fell away in pieces. My carpenter did his best to repair and cover up damage. The veneer is microscopically thin also. This is a contemporary pattern door pair for internal use only. It has engineered construction for greater strength and stability.

I will only give these 4 stars. Despite them being lovely looking, substantial, good quality doors one is not quite square. We trimmed the bottom to fit the opening to find that when we offered the door up the top edge is out of square by about 1/4 inch. This was unexpected in doors that cost £550. It can be rectified luckily but isn't ideal. We now have to borrow an electric planer to cut the top so it is flush. Hence I have 1 door on and 1 waiting to be fitted tomorrow.
