This loft bed is an extremely clever and practical piece of children's furniture that offers incredible functionality and great value for money. This collection's compact footprint is supported by a robust, solid pine framed construction and offers numerous useful features from a handy pull-out desk to ample shelving and cupboard space.

There’s a few things I’d like to draw your attention to about this bed. Firstly it say estimated time to build is 1.5 hours. Possibly if you have a pit crew. Failing that, it’s going to take quite a bit longer. The quality is good, but what is a massive shame is there’s almost no pre drilled holes. So when you hammer in nails or use screws straight into the wood it splits and you’re immediately damaging your brand new bed! It took me a while to notice that this was happening and I’m gutted about these blemishes. I decided the best way forward was to use a tiny drill to make my own holes and that worked a treat. Just be careful not to go too far, which of course the one time I did was on the top of the desk, so now there’s an annoying hole on my son’s brand new desk. So I’m suggesting to the manufacturer, please pre drill the holes!! Overall I am happy with the quality, just gutted it’s damaged from the start which could be avoided. My son absolutely loves it. Absolutely brillant. Its strong and looks great. My kids love it. The shelves really make it extra special for my children. I like the fact wires cant come through the shelves for charging etc.. this means that kids wont have electronics near them. We have a solar lights plugged into the light socket for a night light and thats energy efficient and works great next to the bed. The bed is very hard to assemble. It definitely takes 2 people and maybe even a third person so be prepared to put the work in. This will be hard for one person so I recommend getting it assembled by wayfair. At the head and foot end of the bed there are 13cm deep shelves on which children's books, alarm clocks, small jewelery and other items can be placed in order to train the children's organizational skills. The shelves are fitted with plugs so that nothing can fall off. There is also a shelf at the head of the bed where you can store frequently used items.

Really nice and sturdy bed. Was fairly easy to put together, probably took me a little longer as I assembled it by myself. The shelving/ bookcase aspect is a very nice addition to my daughter’s bedroom, I was expecting this to be slightly deeper and hold books like in the photo but we’ve filled it with soft toys instead. Be aware that the scalloping is white in colour whilst the rest of the bed is more of a cream wood grain effect, you can see this in the photo if you look really hard. Looks very smart in my son's bedroom. My daughter wants one now. Everything is very neat with a hiding place or toy storage behind. Great for small rooms! The reason I have only given it 4 stars is due to the scratch marks and flaws in the paint work of the wood which is not what your expecting after paying £500 for the bed but after taking it all out of the box we weren't going to send it back then after my 7 year old boy has been waiting for it to be delivered. Also, there is a gap between all of the drawers which runs down both sides and this gap is not equal but it doesn't affect the opening and closing of the drawers. However, my son loves his new bed!!. Yes it does take a while to assemble but the outcome is amazing. My ten year old granddaughter loves this bed and I’m sure she will for years to come. The sofa and cupboard unit can be positioned either side under the top bunk and the ladder can also be moved to the other side; this isn’t mentioned in the details about the product.
