The bed was really good and the little one loved it. The bed is well made, stable, easy to put together (only took a few hours to put together). Being a mid-sleeper the space under the bed (in terms of height) is limited, so it's quite easy for the little ones to bump their heads. The only real thing that I disliked was the fact that the base of the slide is made from some sort of cardboard like material. There are pieces of wood under the base of the slide to add support, but in places where the base of the slide does not have support directly underneath, it feels more flimsy than I would like. Otherwise, I really like the product. A couple of minor points that I would like to mention. These may have just been one off incidents that impacted me directly, rather than being inherent issues with ordering the product. 1. The bed arrived late (delayed by a month) 2. The build instructions identified the individual pieces using numbers, but the actual pieces of the bed were not numbered. However, working out what went where, was not too hard.. Mustafa. Half-height solid wood bed in cottage look with a lying surface in 90 x 200 cm. This bed invites you to play and dream. The design is solid pine, the surface is lacquered in a warm "Oak" colour. The frame is made of solid pine (60 x 30mm), with the upper tips and the cross-bracing (approx. 60mm high) painted white. The same goes for the bed frame (approx. 11.7cm high), which offers an insertion depth of approx. 4.5cm for the mattress. The textile tent roof is particularly chic, in light grey with a white zigzag pattern at the top. Great bed structure and easy enough to construct but the pirate curtains don't go with the bed so there was a stick on velcro strip to apparently fix the issue.... it doesn't and they constantly fall down. Needed to super glue them all to stay up.. Anonymous. Sat Feb 12 2022

It is not a week since I built this bed for my 4 year old. He really likes, and has had no problems getting used to it for sleeping and playing. The construction is first rate, and it is clear that care and attention has gone into every step. Different types of wood and joint are used, each one carefully selected for the job at hand. It took 3-4 hours for me to build it on my own: give yourself plenty of time! We were expecting the bed to come with a curtain, as you see in the online images, but this was not the case.
