The two foam mattresses have removable covers for maximum hygiene.

Got the smaller beds to fit where I needed them. Mattresses are thin foam mats but do the job for smallies. Instructions was one sheet, had a pic of a different bed and a few Instructions in German but was easy to bang together. Nothing included to attach ladder though, had to use our own stuff for that. Exactly as expected as it looks in the photos. Easy to put together which is good as the instructions were all in German! A few screws missing too, but not the biggest issue in the world I guess. Overall good happy. As an aside, the delivery driver left it leaning against our front door whilst we were out it was raining.
