The Somerset Bed frame is made from solid Brazilian pine that has been reliably sourced. The simple slatted head-end combined with the high foot-end creates a lovely-looking bed frame. Kiln-dried solid pine slats make for a very sturdy bed. 4FT, 4FT6, and 5FT have center support running from head to foot and also center feet.

This product features two beds, a standard double bed on the bottom with a standard single bed attached just on top of it. This bed is made of good quality durable rubberwood which makes it very sturdy for both children and adults. Finished off to a very high standard in beautiful white paint, it will blend effortlessly into any colour scheme and would look fantastic in the bedroom. The top bunk is easily accessible by climbing the simple 3-step ladder attached to the front of the frame. The lower bottom bunk is ideal for both (children and adults) and both bunks feature a solid support base. These three sleeper bunk beds can be bought with optional under-bed drawers for storage if required. The drawers come in a pair and will roll in and out from under the bed with the 4 wheels casters located on each corner of the bed.

When getting over the ordeal of the build, really pleased with the beds. Sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. After reading some reviews, agree with the strong smelling paint, had to drill holes that were missing on the steps and the pieces didn’t have the labels. For bed, it is possible to buy 4 different kinds of safety rails. Most beds are manufactured of solid pine wood, glued lengthwise, which makes the construction stronger. Wood is not finger-jointed for aesthetic reasons. All connections are done with high-quality Häfele fittings, not visible from the outside. The customer has full freedom of configuration and completion of the rails. They can be dismantled when no longer needed. There are 2 possibilities of mattress base height on the floor level, and higher both of them are standard equipment. On the higher level, there can be a drawer placed under the bed, which can be used, as a second bed. The chimney and mattress frame is included in the price. Barriers and drawers can be purchased additionally.

There is plenty of storage space under this bed and can be bought with additional storage drawers (sold separately). The single bed frame accommodates 2 drawers. The drawers are on wheels so can be used on either side of the bed. Overall a very versatile bed.
