Well made and looks great. Daughter loves her den under her bed. Its not too high although we all banged our head on it whilst building.... We added padding to the step ladder treads and I think would benefit from the option of having stairs... Looks very smart in my son's bedroom. My daughter wants one now. Everything is very neat with a hiding place or toy storage behind. Great for small rooms! The reason I have only given it 4 stars is due to the scratch marks and flaws in the paint work of the wood which is not what your expecting after paying £500 for the bed but after taking it all out of the box we weren't going to send it back then after my 7 year old boy has been waiting for it to be delivered. Also, there is a gap between all of the drawers which runs down both sides and this gap is not equal but it doesn't affect the opening and closing of the drawers. However, my son loves his new bed!!. My daughter loves her new bed. It’s a great way to make use of the vertical space we have. The instructions were easy to follow and all the pieces were included and clearly marked. The desk is level with the edge of the bed which allows for storage to be added behind the desk and under the bed. This is will mean that our daughter can use the bed for longer as she won’t be hitting her head when she stands up from the desk.
