Our son loves his bed, and it genuinely seems to be a solidly made bed with tons of desk top, shelves and drawer space. That said, it is a bear to put together. At some points three people were needed, and the instructions, while likely as clear as they could be, were still difficult to follow at times, especially at the beginning.
