Yes it does take a while to assemble but the outcome is amazing. My ten year old granddaughter loves this bed and I’m sure she will for years to come. The sofa and cupboard unit can be positioned either side under the top bunk and the ladder can also be moved to the other side; this isn’t mentioned in the details about the product.
