I was really nervous after I’d seen the reviews but the delivery men couldn’t have been nicer, they took the packages to the room I asked them to, and yes it was a pain to put together, but betweeen my husband and I we did it in a few days. The loft bed perfectly serves homes with limited space. It takes advantage of the floor space, and allows for a cosy rest, extra work and play space, and makes a great piece of furniture for growing families.

The bed looks nice. It’s a little wobbly and so I will be fixing it to the wall myself. No attachment comes for this. It’s not deep enough for a normal mattress so make sure you buy a thin one. It doesn’t say Harriet Bee anywhere on it either. Not the bed or instructions/packaging. There were a few damaged pieces, plinth, desk top, missing screws and dowels too. It is not a week since I built this bed for my 4 year old. He really likes, and has had no problems getting used to it for sleeping and playing. The construction is first rate, and it is clear that care and attention has gone into every step. Different types of wood and joint are used, each one carefully selected for the job at hand. It took 3-4 hours for me to build it on my own: give yourself plenty of time! We were expecting the bed to come with a curtain, as you see in the online images, but this was not the case.
