This loft bed is an extremely clever and practical piece of children's furniture that offers incredible functionality and great value for money. This collection's compact footprint is supported by a robust, solid pine framed construction and offers numerous useful features from a handy pull-out desk to ample shelving and cupboard space.

There’s a few things I’d like to draw your attention to about this bed. Firstly it say estimated time to build is 1.5 hours. Possibly if you have a pit crew. Failing that, it’s going to take quite a bit longer. The quality is good, but what is a massive shame is there’s almost no pre drilled holes. So when you hammer in nails or use screws straight into the wood it splits and you’re immediately damaging your brand new bed! It took me a while to notice that this was happening and I’m gutted about these blemishes. I decided the best way forward was to use a tiny drill to make my own holes and that worked a treat. Just be careful not to go too far, which of course the one time I did was on the top of the desk, so now there’s an annoying hole on my son’s brand new desk. So I’m suggesting to the manufacturer, please pre drill the holes!! Overall I am happy with the quality, just gutted it’s damaged from the start which could be avoided. My son absolutely loves it. Looks very smart in my son's bedroom. My daughter wants one now. Everything is very neat with a hiding place or toy storage behind. Great for small rooms! The reason I have only given it 4 stars is due to the scratch marks and flaws in the paint work of the wood which is not what your expecting after paying £500 for the bed but after taking it all out of the box we weren't going to send it back then after my 7 year old boy has been waiting for it to be delivered. Also, there is a gap between all of the drawers which runs down both sides and this gap is not equal but it doesn't affect the opening and closing of the drawers. However, my son loves his new bed!!. This mid sleeper bed is the perfect place for both playing and sleeping, made of solid pine wood. The decorative fabric set featuring a space design is included. The dark blue tone of the fabric fits in wonderfully with the playful space theme design and patterns. The front curtain has an open entranceway which is covered by a flap that can easily be rolled up. The fabric in this set is made of 100% cotton and can be machine washed at 30°C. The space underneath the bed is the perfect play area or it can be used as practical storage space. The ladder can be mounted on the left or right. The surrounding bed rails, wide ladder rungs for safely climbing up and down, and the high-quality workmanship along with the stable construction all make this bed stand out.

It is not a week since I built this bed for my 4 year old. He really likes, and has had no problems getting used to it for sleeping and playing. The construction is first rate, and it is clear that care and attention has gone into every step. Different types of wood and joint are used, each one carefully selected for the job at hand. It took 3-4 hours for me to build it on my own: give yourself plenty of time! We were expecting the bed to come with a curtain, as you see in the online images, but this was not the case.
