There are no pilot holes if you want it facing the opposite way from the photos, but it can be done. Mounting to the wall is a little tough with baseboards and on carpet it needs to be secure to the wall. The bracket they provided did not reach all the way to the wall so we had to improvise.

This shelf is garbage. The smallest “wood” part that screws into the bottom is over an inch too short. As a result, I have to use a wooden block so the shelves can stand up. Can’t use the shelf where I intended. You sold me garbage!

It’s a little wobbly and I haven’t anchored it to the wall yet, but it fits my space perfectly. One of the shelves was slightly damaged, but not enough for me to want to return the whole thing.

Love it! Fits just as I hoped in a narrow space by my closet. It wasn’t very difficult to assemble, but I would recommend a drill or electric screw driver. Lots of screws!! My hands got very tired. But worth the result.
