Great product, easy to assemble

The bookcase looks as it does in the picture. However we encountered several problems during assembly and with the finished product. First, the instructions are vague with poorly detailed diagrams that don't depict the exact differences between similar boards. The nails provided for the back board were too flimsy for the strength of wood and bent regularly, requiring us to dig out some backups from another piece. With the assembly finished we noticed several large gaps between the shelves and the sides of the case as well as a significant wobble as the rear-right leg is a few mm shorter than the others, resulting in worrying instability without the use of cardboard. The only positive other than the price and it's looks is the ease with which you can adjust the height of the shelves.

The first one I ordered was fine but this one doesn’t stand straight or flat on the floor. Wayfair have said they would refund 50% but now I’m stuck with a bookcase I can’t use!

Very much like the bookcase now it's up but the assembly instructions were not good and should have included an inventory with descriptions of each part

Prompt delivery etc, can’t fault them on that score. However that’s as good as it gets sadly. This item was Advertised as something that could be put together easily by one person in 30-45 mins - utter tripe! .Quite apart from the physical difficulties of assembly you literally need a PhD to understand the (very poor and minimal) instructions. I am really annoyed because I actually rang to query if it was really THAT easy and assured it was. My other half knows what he is doing with this stuff and so does our next door neighbour who is a whizz at it but even they have to concede defeat. We are going to have to get in a professional carpenter/joiner to put it together. Never again!
