The chairs are lovely and I’m really pleased with them, especially considering the price. They look great and feel sturdy. That said, the finish on the legs could be improved. I’ll likely give them a light sand and touch-up myself.
I don’t usually do flat-pack furniture or assembly, but I managed to put these together on my own, which was a small victory. The instructions weren’t included in the box, but they were sent by email. While I appreciate the eco friendly approach, I would have preferred a paper copy as constantly unlocking my phone to check the next step was a bit of a hassle.
The instructions are fairly basic, and as someone who isn’t very DIY savvy, it took me longer than expected to build them. I had to keep loosening screws to fit other pieces, and one part even ended up upside down I’ll wait for my husband to fix that part.
Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase. I just wish there was an option to buy a single chair, as I could really use one more for aesthetic balance, but it feels a bit wasteful to purchase another set of two.
