Nicely constructed, slim which was a big factor in my purchase, and comfortable. It's a good stool, not super-fancy, pretty much what I was looking for. I would have rated it four stars as being a good item. I'm taking one star away because the color that was advertised as dark gray was really a light gray, as you can see in the attached photos. Great chairs! Firm cushions. I love that the back is not too high and that I can push them almost all the way under the island. The leather looks and feels like it would clean up nicely though have not yet tested that. The seat is about 1” higher than standard but still allows leg room under the skirt of my island. The white is beautiful, a little bit cream colored compared to my cabinets but still goes nicely together. The gold legs are a little darker than expected but still look good. Would recommend..
