This table is absolutely beautiful. It would seat 4 or 5 very comfortably, and probably 6 at a squeeze. However, just three months after purchase, it has developed stress-related cracks at the points where the limbs of the roots branch off from each other, extending into the base. I am worried that it will snap in half, letting the glass fall and shatter. Wayfair are sending a replacement base: hopefully this will turn out just to have been a weak specimen, and the new one will be fine - I will update this review in a few months if so. This table is stunning. Well worth the money as it is quality 100%. The tree stump is beautiful, incredibly heavy so some thought needed when positioning.
