Awful to assemble and I'm an expert in self assembly furniture. Been doing it for years. Two of us over two days. Instructions appear to be back to front. Will let you know when we manage to line everything up. Holes drilled both sides so unclear. Very heavy, which is good but the mdf bits don't seem to align to the wooden doors. Getting a time served carpenter to finish it - hopefully! Not impressed, I've made up loads of cabinets and shelving units etc but this is shoddy. This sideboard IS NOT solid oak but cheap chipboard with a black veneer vinyl finish. Very disappointing, chipped in multiple places. Instructions are very hard to follow. There are no shelves in the cupboards so storage is waisted. I should have requested an immediate return due to the false advertisement on this item not to mention the damage to the veneer. Unfortunately I was in desperate need of a sideboard so it will have to do. I would not recommend this if you are in fact looking for a Solid Oak sideboard as that is not what you will get, what you will get is a cheap imitation.. Kerry. Holmewood Chesterfield, GB.
