Took around an hour to assemble and all necessary tools are included. Each side can be individually extended or tiled that is the best function of this sofa! Compact in size yet would easily fit 3 people sitting or 2 sleeping. Has pockets on the side for magazines or other bits. On a firmer side so not necessarily the comfiest for sleeping. Works perfectly in our conservatory. As a bonus- our cat is obsessed with it!
