This is a great desk for the price…. As long as you can manage realistic expectations. It took me around two hours to build solo… it’s pretty straightforward and all of the holes are pre-drilled so it’s easy to line it all up. The wood looks pretty, as long as you don’t look too closely, because then you can see the scuffs. At the end of the day, it’s cheap veneered wood and that’s reflected in the price… but it does the job and looks to be a higher spec quality than it is. The instructions are mostly easy to follow, but there is an error around parts 4 on the drawer section and it took me a while to work out why it didn’t fit. As a consequence, the back didn’t line up properly… it’s not a dealbreaker, but it was a time suck and frustrating. All in all, I would recommend this desk. A nice touch not mentioned in the instructions is the feet can be adjusted. Arrived next day in perfect condition, no scratches or damage. DHL driver brought it up one flight of stairs. I bought the Ambus 100 W L Shape Computer Desk for my home office and I’m really happy with it – the L-shape fits perfectly into the corner and gives me loads of usable space (I’ve got two monitors, my laptop and still room for a coffee), the adjustable shelves are actually useful for keeping things tidy, and it looks clean and modern while feeling sturdy enough for everyday use (even with my cats jumping up to “help” during the day); it’s not the deepest desk if you like a lot of distance from your screen and assembly takes a bit of patience like most flat-pack furniture, but overall it’s great value for money and ideal if you want a practical, space-saving desk for working from home..
