I was looking for a unit to house all my books, CD's DVD's, old fashioned cassettes and vinyl collection from years ago. This unit proved ideal and is really great value,I did assemble it on my own but would have been a lot easier with two mainly due to weight height and length. Once assembled I gave it 3 coats of Danish Finishing Oil to give it a rich honey effect and bring out the pine characteristics. The instructions need to be a bit more specific with regard to fitting extension modules that are going to have doors and draws incorporated as facias require to be put on the correct way up for door runner and hinge attachment and height. Two of the door hinges were faulty but customer services soon ordered replacements which arrived in about 8 days. I would give it 4 stars (would have been 5 except for faulty hinges). Paul. Duns, GB. I was looking for a very large bookcase for my newly renovated home office and this looked lovely. I was disappointed that wayfair only told me after I ordered and paid in full that it was out of stock and was in “backorder”. Took almost 3 months to arrive! It is not easy to out together. Parts look very similar and none are labelled! So far we have spent 3 hours assembling just 1/3rd of it and we are fairly experienced with DIY. From the images, I actually thought that this would be much chunkier than the actual product. The wooden lips make it appear as is solid wood, however, it is thin wood. The office cabinet consists of 4 compartments and 3 drawers. The open shelves allow for the display of picture frames, books, small potted plants or works of art. The fabric drawers insulate from dust and are breathable and odourless for storing private items.

It arrived intact, the packaging as well. Got it opened and ready to assemble. The very first brackets needed, literally in step one, were useless. They were somehow stuck together, almost like they were powder coated together. There should have been 4 “u” shaped pieces (they are labeled “p” in the instructions) and instead I have 2 cubes of very attached to each other metal (see photo). Wayfair is sending a new hardware pack, but the shipping quote says I won’t have them for almost a month. I’m really hoping I can come back and amend this review to add stars, but finding this level of poor quality control before I’ve even gotten it assembled does not fill me with much hope. So for now, my oversized trip hazard on the floor gets one star. **Update. The replacement parts arrived faster than expected. Assembly was not difficult, but the instruction photos are less than stellar. The screw heads also strip really easily, even when using only the tool provided.
