This is an impressive sideboard, we love it! It’s a really solid piece of furniture (it’s heavy!) and building took quite a while - also needed a fair amount of space. I was very disappointed that for the price, the top and sides of this sideboard were not high gloss, as the photos of the product clearly show a mirror shine on the side of the unit. Also it took 6 hours to put together by my boyfriend who is extremely capable and said he'd never seen anything so difficult to build. This large sideboard offers plenty of storage space to help keep your living space or dining area neat and organized. It has a Scandinavian-inspired style that matches well with most contemporary interiors, with a manufactured wood construction that has contrasting solid color and wood grain finishes. The unit stands on slightly splayed legs and includes two cupboards with an internal shelf each and three soft-close drawers.

While it was a longer assembly than expected, it’s a sturdy, nice looking piece. We use it as our coffee tea bar as we have very little kitchen storage and counter space. TIP if you’re using this where any liquid could be involved (like coffee bar, food service, etc) consider purchasing a piece of glass or similar to sit on the top. This is not wood and moisture will damage it! We had a glass guy get us a custom fit glass panel and it was worth it for how we are using this. The double doors have some issues closing properly one at a time. This is most likely because of slightly off factory predrilled holes. We did all the micro adjusting that the special hinge allows, which fixed the top to bottom alignment, but couldn’t adjust enough to fix this issue. We could reposition the hinges by making our own holes and trying that, but ain’t nobody got time f’dat. When they are closed, they look nice. We just have to close them simultaneously, which could be annoying until we remember we bathe in drinking water and have plenty of food to eat. Totally a first world problem. Not a deal breaker, especially for the price. Minus one star because of that. We do love it and do not regret purchasing! Recommended In case anyone wonders- rug is World Market. Crystal. Nur die Verknüpfung der metallenen Schubladenauszüge mit den Plastikteilen, die an den Schubladen selbst montiert werden, war ziemlich tricky.
