The controls work with three customizable presets and an arrow up and arrow down,Once you have the height you want long press the preset you want it to save to. Just watch that your cable lengths can accomodate the height you are going to. Also the control panel sticks out so be careful you dont lean on it by accident and move the height. We provided detailed numbers in the installation instructions to make installation simple. It was reasonably easy to assemble with two people. If you like the idea of ​​a sit/stand desk but are hesitant on the value for money price, do yourself a favorite and get it. You'll never look back.

Just as pictured. The instructions aren't too clear but once built its great solid desk. Now in the photos it shows can have it multiple ways BUT in the instructions it only shows it for a left or right L shaped desk.
