I just got it so the 5 stars are based on new condition.I hope to get atleast 5 good years from this chair.Anyway its nice looking. looks well made with a modern design.I dont understand the complaints about putting it together.The instructions are clear and it takes about 30 minutes .Its a little firm when new but Im sure it will soften up in a couple weeks. I love this chair! It was easy to put together and the back part felt really good on my back. It is honestly hard (in my opinion) to get chairs online because there are so many factors. Like the height of the back where your head goes if you sit back, what happens to the chair if you lean back etc. This was 10/10 in every category and the fact that it was comfortable too was a major plus.. Amazing, it fits my size as a woman! I’ve had a lot of problems finding a chair that isn’t huge for me. Usually chair seats hit the back of my lower leg causing my legs to go numb. But this chair leaves space so my legs don’t get numb while sitting. Also, the quality is amazing, that’s why I included close ups of the parts. The armrests rotate in so I can actually rest my elbows while typing. And the headrest comes down low enough to actually cradle my neck. I seen several others using this chair for dining. So that's exactly what we did. Bought 2 of the red. Took about a week delivery from Mississippi to Seattle. Box's were a little tired but chairs were fine. The quality and engineering excellent. Very comfortable sitting. I put them together myself & have a hint for you. Test each screw before assembly. Don't tighten connections until all screws started. That's so you'll be able to wiggle parts to line up holes. I Compare them to a regular Captain's dining chair. Very good value.
