I purchased 2 of these Black Reclining Armchairs as replacements for older Recliners I had. These are different make from my previous Recliners. They are comfortable although I do find the back of them are slightly more upright than my previous chair, also the seating area is slightly shorter than my previous chair so it will probably take me a little time to get used to sitting on them. They are however comfortable and the covering is very nice to look at. The Reclining position is comfortable and yes the Reclining position can be a little stiff to when returning it to the "seated" position but that will probably get easier as the chair is used more over time. The 2 chairs were delivered in a large box each and they required a little assembly although this is very straight forward and very easy to do. Overall these Recliners are good value. I never got to see the chair because the ordering and delivery service was without doubt the most shambollic I have ever experienced in my life. I actually had to block the emails to stop the barrage of questions about when to collect it, when it had already been returned - finally. Ordered July 15, expected July 19, changed delivery dates until final delivery late evening July 25. It was going to a dementia care home, open 24 hours a day- They kept expecting it to arrive. I was working away trying to track all this, then the manager called me to say they had opened the box and it was velvet and not leatherette. My dad is incontinent and it needed to be wipeable. To get to talk to a customer service person is nearly impossible but eventually I made it and was asked if I wanted to keep it as lots of people do and don’t mind- No- I didn’t. Then she said she would request a refund as she did not trust the system to send me the correct one again so she would cancel it and have it collected. The Collection was arranged for the next day. It wasn’t collected, I called again. Oh they said, I can see it was requested but not approved in the system. They will pick it up tomorrow. Then the emails started, please upload photos- I did- please arrange a date for delivery- I already did. Please send photos- I already did. Please review your chair- seriously. Please review your delivery- is this a joke. Please select a delivery date- by this time the chair had been collected and I did email and say if you don’t pick it up tomorrow I will dispose of it as it was blocking the hallway. The emails kept coming so I asked for my email address to be removed. We are sorry to hear.. bla blsb blah please confirm the delivery address and upload photos. I blocked cord the email and I started to receive ones from panther, I blocked them and received ones from Book it. And today I have received this feedback form- please make it stop I will never order from Wayfair again, your ordering/ collection system is a joke- Shame really as I have previously loved your furniture. Absolutely brilliant. I am disabled paraplegic and have to be pulled out of my chair to a standing position for the last 7yrs. I have had to keep being assisted across to the sofa so that I could lie down after sitting for a while now I don’t need any help as I can push a button to a standing position on my own and can recline tge chair to lie down when I’m tired. The Jerrious is a brand new, electrically operated, reclining suite covered in supple and durable bonded leather. This exceptionally comfortable suite has seen incredible early customer feedback for its quality, comfort, and support. The suite is constructed from a solid hardwood with a pocket sprung and foam interior. The seats are then filled with a dense foam. The bonded leather covering is used over the majority of the suite with a faux leather match used on the lower stress areas. This model is available as an armchair, 2-seat recliner sofa, and 3-seat recliner sofa - all of which are electrically operated. The recline function is operated with buttons on the outside of the arm and is completely variable, you can pause the recline at any point. Please note the middle section of the 3 seats does not recline.
