I am very pleased with the York Kitchen Island. It is a little bit on the pricey side but nevertheless an extremely useful and robust item, which blends into our kitchen well. It is a nice neat size, for storing fruit and vegetables and I will probably use the top surface for keeping my coffee percolator. There were one or two screws that needed tightening up slightly around the top drawer area, otherwise all good - and the wheels are excellent. This small island can be moved around effortlessly.. This kitchen island comes with a tabletop/breakfast bar on a metal tube stand which can be positioned alongside or perpendicular to the wall. It also includes a storage cabinet with 3 compartments. The top compartment opens on both sides, with a shelf and metal rods to stop items from falling out, the middle compartment is closed with a roller-shutter and the base compartment opens on only one side. This kitchen island has a melamine particle board on both sides and comes with an ABS plastic handle.
