Brown Large (>150 Cm) Kitchen Islands & Trolleys

Create a generous preparation area and keep kitchen essentials organised with this 170cm-wide kitchen island. The 170 × 60cm worktop provides ample room for chopping boards, ingredients and serving dishes, so each stage of meal preparation can stay together rather than competing for space beside the hob. Four open compartments keep frequently used cookware, utensils and ingredients visible and easy to reach. Behind the two doors, concealed storage accommodates packets, containers and less frequently used items, helping the kitchen appear tidier. The unit has an overall maximum load capacity of 150kg for dependable everyday storage and preparation. The wood-effect MDF worktop adds natural warmth, while the black steel frame creates a clean, contemporary contrast. Position the unit centrally in a spacious kitchen for access from different sides, or place it against a wall to extend the available work surface in a narrower layout. The wipe-clean surfaces simplify care after cooking. Clear instructions and the required assembly tools are included, so no separate tool purchase is needed.

A kitchen island that solves the two problems small kitchens tend to have: nowhere to work and nowhere to put things. The drop leaf top extends when you need more surface and folds back down when you do not, so the island takes 47.5cm of depth closed and 72cm open. Underneath, an enclosed cabinet with an internal shelf takes pans, crockery and small appliances, and there is a towel rail, a spice rack and a paper towel holder for the things you reach for while cooking. It stands at 90cm, worktop height, and runs on wheels, so it can move between the kitchen and the dining space. The top is rated to 100kg. Engineered wood and solid pine, with painted MDF panels, 15mm pine drawer sides and 40 x 40mm pine posts. Assembly is a one-person job, and the maker allows about ninety minutes.

This extendable kitchen island combines cooking, storage, and dining in one unit. It features app-controlled LED ambient lighting, glass cabinet doors, and an oak-textured exterior. Combining drawers and closed cabinets, its minimalist yet luxurious design makes it suitable for various spaces, including kitchens and dining rooms, offering both practicality and aesthetics.

I am extremely pleased with this dining table set. The design is both stylish and practical, making it a perfect addition to my home. The natural wood finish gives it a warm, premium look, while the clever space-saving design allows the chairs and table extension to tuck away neatly when not in use. The quality of the craftsmanship is excellent, with a sturdy construction that feels durable and built to last. The integrated storage compartment is a fantastic feature, providing extra functionality without compromising on appearance. The table is ideal for everyday use and can easily accommodate guests when extended. It has transformed my dining area, making it both more functional and visually appealing. Overall, this is an outstanding piece of furniture that combines quality, innovation, and style. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a compact yet versatile dining solution.. Anonymous. 1 hour to construct! A lie! Unless perhaps you are a chippy. Screwing into solid wood, with some so close to the sides that there was no space to grip a screwdriver properly. This is very hard to construct and I need help with the doors which I can’t get on. With doors it will look good, so I may give more stars if someone can put them on.. A. Edington Westbury, GB. Two pieces of furniture in one footprint: a kitchen island 121cm wide that pulls open to 182cm when you need somewhere to sit. The extension slides out on two castors and locks with a brake, so it stays put while someone leans on it. At 93cm high the surface is counter height, which suits counter stools rather than dining chairs. The island itself stands on a plinth, so there are no legs to catch a foot. The body is white melamine-faced board with a 28mm top in a natural wood finish, so the wood reads warm against the white and wipes clean after cooking. Below, the base closes into a cabinet that takes the clutter off the worktop. Allow about two hours to build it, and a second pair of hands makes it quicker. Depth is 70cm.

I love this cart- perfect for my lanai. I load it up with hor d’oeuvres and drinks, roll it next to my table and it’s perfect. Assembly was easy - I used teak oil which really helped bring out the color of the wood!. Carla. Waterford, MI. Thu Jan 12 2023

I received this island on Friday 10 April 2026 - both marble inserts for the top were cracked in half, I appreciate these items could have been damaged in transit but Wayfair are advising they are unable to send replacement tops only and blaming the supplier, they have offered to replace the entire unit despite the large unit being undamaged and the marble inserts arriving in a seperate damaged package. Further they have advised I would need to arrange the return of these items which are more than 100 kilos as they are unable to arrange collection. Still trying to resolve and stuck with an island with no top at present. I would highly recommend not purchasing any large good from this merchant. Extremely stressful and so far unresolved..
