Beautiful chair, but the arms do not fit with my desk therefore it is very uncomfortable to use. As the arms are wooden, they are hard, and I find them a bit painful as they do not offer support. I have hip issues and needed a chair with a deeper seat to support my legs from hips to knees, and this one fits the bill. It's not very soft, but that is actually perfect for me! I need more support, rather than a chair that gives that sinking-in comfort that a lot of fancy office chairs give you. So only choose this chair if you want firmness and support.
