Mirrors fell out and luckily my fella was able to mend them properly being a joiner but that could have been a disaster if myself or any of my children had opened the doors for the glass to fall on top of them! The mirrors literally weren’t even fixed in properly. Also, the rail is made of wood and bends in the middle so I’ve pretty much paid just over £300 to fix a wardrobe up myself- will have to replace the rail with a metal one. Not very impressed. I bought the vestry cupboard before the wardrobe. Our spare bedroom is quite small so I was very limited on what I could put in it. I was hoping for a bit more of a honey pine that would match the furniture I bought way back in 2002. However this was the best available. I would have preferred something that was preassembled with proper joinery, but it was either this or something bespoke which would have been the other end of the price scale. Pine simply is not popular anymore and old pine was too big. It arrived quickly and very easy to assemble. I am pretty pleased with it and adds a bit of character. Unfortunately we would not recommend this product. The instructions are very misleading. They claim that the wardrobe will take 1 hour to construct if 2 people are working on it. It took us 2 days (5-6 hours each day). We are no strangers to flat pack however this was on a different level. The wardrobe was delivered in 3 boxes, each with many parts, none of which were labelled. With over 50 different parts, it was near impossible to determine which piece was which. Then came construction. However, piece 1 (a large side section of the wardrobe) was around 1 cm larger than piece 2. Therefore they did not marry up where the dowels were. We contacted Wayfair who put us in touch with the manufacturer. They were unable to send us a spare part so offered us a discount instead to keep the faulty product. We had to cut the wood down and drill new dowel holes. We did not know then, that this would be the first of many ‘fixes’ we had to make to this faulty product. Several pre-drilled holes were in the wrong places or did not exist, leaving us to guess where shelves were supposed to be placed. Now we have finally constructed the wardrobe, we are unhappy with the overall finish.
