The desk comes flat-packed with detailed instructions and labeled parts, which makes for easy assembly. We recommend using an electric drill for assembly if possible.

I would always recommend Wayfair for their brilliant customer service. When the Asmahan Computer Desk failed to arrive, they investigated and immediately replaced the item. Looks nice in the picture, but the quality is off the mark. The assembly instructions are near useless with errors throughout. The self assemble instructions are incorrect, difficult to follow and parts are incorrectly identified. If you follow the instructions you'll end up scratching you head wondering where you went wrong and having to work out how to correct it. The Haefner secretary desk with hutch is a practical and particularly space-saving workspace. With its shallow depth, it ensures the best use of space, e.g. in a corridor. The large worktop can be folded down gently thanks to two high-pressure dampers. Behind the door are a practical laptop compartment and a storage shelf. Side pockets, which are also suitable for a PC, and shelves behind the worktop expand the storage space of the Haefner.

Really like this desk. It does indeed take 2 people and a few hours to assemble, but it is cleverly designed to fit in a small space. If possible it'd be rated 4.5 because additional materials to bracket it to the wall are not included.
