This was a wonderful desk. How ever it was dented on the bottom of the leg where you have to place the black insert that are the feet. The weirdest part is the top with those three light brown pegs that bring the top covers of the table together be careful when using a mallet the desk will cop immediately. The paint is already chipping of the top and bottom. I got mines discounted because I can’t wait for the parts and I am not about to sit here and wait for an escalation team to discount my faith after I don’t spent a gang of money ordering a ton of furniture. The instructions don't say this, but you can set this up to have drawers on the left, or right, depending on which works best for you. That's a nice feature. On the down side, a few of the pieces didn't quite fit together. The slots for the fiberboard back and one of the drawers weren't deep enough so I have to clean them out with a hand saw. If you have a hand saw, this is not a big deal. However, if you don't have tools, I'm not sure what you would do. Maybe use a steak knife or just return it? It's a nice desk, striking design. Added a monitor stand so I could use it as a small desk for the living area that would somewhat blend in. Great for my purposes. A little wobbly, will move slightly while typing, and writing, but nothing concerning. Monitor is a 24 inch monitor and laptop is 24 inch (diagonal).
