This is surprisingly good for the price. Sturdy desk, good design, high quality surface finish even though it's fake wood, easy assembly. I was worried about hitting my shins on the shelf below the desk surface, but the desk has enough depth for that not to be much of a problem. The only somewhat unfortunate feature that I found is that the shelf happens to be at a height where it covers up wall sockets that at the typical UK height. This is a sturdy piece of furniture and fits our needs perfectly since my husband has continued to work from home. However, I would have liked the Tower piece to have the option of a shelf and for the separate pieces to be absolutely flush next to each. This is a good looking table but 4 stars because the top of the table is 2 pieces and the wood design doesn’t match (see pictures). The top 2 drawers do not have the side mount drawer slides instead they glide on metal side rails and they are slightly smaller than the space, you can move them left and right but they don’t come off the metal rail.
