it took me 5 hours to assemble. 2 people works better than 1 as the top layer is heavy and awkward to place . lifting part works great, smooth, easy to open and close for a standing work place. drawers open and close with ease. but, it not easy . nice challenge though. Sat at this desk typing this review. It's a great desk, loads of space (I have laptop/screen/keyboard/mouse/desk lamp/pen pot and numerous notebooks strewn around and I never feel cramped. The quality is amazing and I have no fears of it falling apart.
