Can be built either left or right handed but watch out - you must build the side part the right way round before you attach it to the main desk! Both USB ports are the rectangular "A" type. A nice touch not mentioned in the instructions is the feet can be adjusted. Arrived next day in perfect condition, no scratches or damage. DHL driver brought it up one flight of stairs. I bought the Ambus 100 W L Shape Computer Desk for my home office and I’m really happy with it – the L-shape fits perfectly into the corner and gives me loads of usable space (I’ve got two monitors, my laptop and still room for a coffee), the adjustable shelves are actually useful for keeping things tidy, and it looks clean and modern while feeling sturdy enough for everyday use (even with my cats jumping up to “help” during the day); it’s not the deepest desk if you like a lot of distance from your screen and assembly takes a bit of patience like most flat-pack furniture, but overall it’s great value for money and ideal if you want a practical, space-saving desk for working from home.. I was needing a new computer desk so was looking through the numerous pages of products on wayfair for something that caught my eye and suited my needs. This was actually the second product that caught my eye but I was put off the first by a detail not being quite right for me and a few negative reviews. I chose this one with the blue edging which is much more subtle than red. Before building I was concerned that I might have problems with the fit because this can be quite common with flatpacks, and also would I manage to fully assemble it without an extra pair of hands to assist. I was surprised to find that there is only 11 pieces to it, but everything went together perfectly which I easily managed to do on my own. The desk looks great, it is sturdy and has plenty of space for a mid sized tower case, plus the round holes either side are a nice touch. I have no problem in recommending this desk.. Ronald.
