The controls work with three customizable presets and an arrow up and arrow down,Once you have the height you want long press the preset you want it to save to. Just watch that your cable lengths can accomodate the height you are going to. Also the control panel sticks out so be careful you dont lean on it by accident and move the height. We provided detailed numbers in the installation instructions to make installation simple. It was reasonably easy to assemble with two people. I needed a longer office table to store my personal and work computer. The electric adjustable height function has been ideal as its meant that I have been able to raise the height of the table to store another appliance underneath which is so helpful to utilise storage. The quality is excellent, very sturdy and a nice clean white colour. Two computers and two printers fit perfectly. I opted for the professional assembly option through Wayfair. I've used this service three times now and have always been impressed at how quickly professional assemblers have been matched to my items following delivery.
