Lovely desk, I’m pretty experienced with building this type of furniture and putting it together was a little time consuming. It is definitely needs two people when you come to fitting the desk tops. The biggest challenge is attaching the draws to the desk as it is a single pieces that you have keep lined up. This definitely takes two people. Your cabinets will arrive fully assembled; however, the desk is best sent disassembled as it simply will not fit through the average domestic doorway. Therefore it will arrive in two boxes with an easy-read assembly guide and built-in fixings that require just a crosshead screwdriver to complete. All units are pre-assembled prior to packing to ensure easy assembly on arrival. Please be aware that this product is of superior quality and therefore heavy. You may require assistance for room placement.

This is a beautiful table, especially for the price. My second choice table for my rustic cozy old lodge library vibe I’m going for is thousands of dollars so this was the obvious winner, and I’m glad I got it! Delivery was fast and it was packed very well. The box got very banged up during delivery and I was worried, but the table inside was flawless and undamaged. It was the easiest thing in the world to put together and everything you need is included. Be prepared for a large and heavy box though. As someone else mentioned, the legs are very lightweight and hollow wood but thick and sturdy at the same time so I think it will last a good while. The table top is one solid piece of wood. I got the regular natural wood color and it’s gorgeous. Although sanded and smooth, I would say the wood is quite dry and I’m going to use a hard wax oil to protect the wood. It would be a good idea to have this on hand or order some so that it’s ready to use if you’re ordering the table.
