I think it is more likely PU The seat pad is not thick as described or as comfortable as my last office chair. The lumber support is ok. The quality of finish, of the parts could be better. However, the chair looks good and comfortable for short periods of time for me. I would not want to work for 8 or more hours a day homeoffice on it. Easy to assemble just be careful with the back rest, leave the arm rests loose until you have all the bolts in for the back rest and tighten all together. For the money you will be hard pushed to get much better. The last one I bought from Staples was in 2015 and cost circa £175, more comfortable and that was facing leather now looked a mess, hence this purchase. I will see how it wares.. Anonymous. My first impressions are excellent! I'm sitting in this chair as I type this review, and I'm very comfortable. As someone who is plus size (100kg), I needed a chair that could accommodate my weight and size, and this one suits my needs. I really wanted a chair that was quite plush and well padded, so I was a little dubious at first, since there weren't any reviews to help me, but I can confirm that the chair is just as padded as the pictures suggest. Time will tell how well the cushioning lasts, but for now I'm very happy with it. The assembly was pretty straightforward, though it definitely helps if you have another person to help you out for some of it, because it's quite a heavy chair overall. The product description did mention height adjustable armrests, but I don't see how that's possible as the arm rests are fixed to the base of the chair, and there are no instructions or indications on how to raise the height of the armrests, so perhaps this was an oversight on the product listing? I'm not sure. The footrest is a really nice addition, and was one of the selling points for me. I often sit with one leg crossed and tucked under the other, which is not ideal, so I'm hoping that this will encourage better posture since I do spend a lot of time at my desk. I love it.Great chair . I bought this chair about a month ago for my work-from-home setup and gaming, and overall Im really happy with it. The seat cushion is definitely on the firmer side, which felt a bit stiff for the first week, but now my lower back doesnt ache at all after sitting for eight-plus hours. The recline is super smooth for taking quick breaks, and being able to adjust the armrests in every direction made it easy to match my desk height perfectly. Assembly took about 20 minutes on my own. I just got it so the 5 stars are based on new condition.I hope to get atleast 5 good years from this chair.Anyway its nice looking. looks well made with a modern design.I dont understand the complaints about putting it together.The instructions are clear and it takes about 30 minutes .Its a little firm when new but Im sure it will soften up in a couple weeks.
