I absolutely love these chairs !! From the minute I opened the box, I could tell that they were high quality chairs. The legs are made from bamboo and the chairs are finished in a luxurious faux leather. One of the standout features is the 360-degree swivel function, which works smoothly and quietly. Assembling the chairs was straightforward. The instructions are quite basic yet easy to follow and understand. All the parts arrive flat packed, and the assembly took approximately 15 minutes per chair. It takes a while removing all the packaging, but I don't mind as I would rather the parts were protected during shipping. A few tips: use a small electric screwdriver (not a drill) with an Allen key piece. It's so much quicker than using the supplied tool. Also, I found it easier leaving the rear cushion until last. Plus, I used the cardboard boxes as a table for assembly, this will save you from excessive bending. Once assembled, the chairs are nice and sturdy, and the foam filled seat cushions are firm yet comfortable. They are a generous size and look amazing around my dining table. Honestly, they make a real statement piece in my kitchen. It looks great and is very comfortable. Good value when you see similar with not a great difference in quality for double this price. *update* Been 6 years with this recliner now. The outer faux leather layer started wearing away at about the 5 year mark and it's in a bad state now so looking for an upgrade. It's also lost the cushioning and is creaky. Considering the price, I still rate this 5 stars for an entry level recliner, it's been brilliant to sink into every evening. Just don't expect to get more than about 5 years life out of it. I'm a slim build and no more than 12 stone. The heavier built person should consider something with a more substantial seat as that's one of the first things deteriorate.. Nick. Northampton, GB. My disabled son is delighted with his new chair. He is relaxed, happy, loves the brown faux leather (easy to wipe clean) and likes to put his feet up listening to music.
