The Low Bookcase exemplifies meticulous craftsmanship in its hand-finishing process. The oak parquet top undergoes delicate distressing, followed by the application of a thin layer of white paint meticulously hand-rubbed back. A resilient clear lacquer is then applied, resulting in a stunning and long-lasting appearance.

Ordered this as the closest budget match to my other solid oak lounge furniture. It's not bad for the price, if you look close up you can tell it's oak veneer rather than real solid oak, although the top looks real enough, the backing board looks like laminate but when the case if full of dvds you won't see that anyway.
