It was simple at first sight, which was a plus plus plus for me! But, I ran into a tough spot not being able to line up the holes for the arms of the chair, the struggle to do that added about 30-45 minutes on putting it together. We love this chair! Its very sturdy and seems well made. The standwheels and arms are metal, and feel really solid.
